


Market Event
On Thursday, May 1st from 5:30-7:30pm, malt and barley will meet curds and whey at the Milwaukee Public Market. Join West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe and the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board where some of Wisconsin’s finest cheeses will be paired alongside craft beers that will meet everyone’s tastes! You will have the chance to meet Wisconsin cheesemakers and learn how their cheeses match with your favorite Porter or Lager. Sample cheeses from Carr Valley Cheese, Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, Roelli Cheese, Sartori Foods, Saxon Creamery, Seymour Dairy, and Uplands Cheese. These fine cheeses will be paired with beer from Ale Asylum, Stevens Point Brewery, Unibroue, Lakefront Brewery, Furthermore Beer, Peak Organic, and Great Lakes Brewing Co. Meet authors Pam Percy & Martin Hintz as they sign copies of their newly published book, “Wisconsin Cheese: A Cookbook and Guide to the Cheeses of Wisconsin” and watch a cooking demo by Executive Chef Jack Kaestner of Oconomowoc Lake Club. Join us while we welcome members of Milwaukee's ABC Bar Club, who will make the Mooo & Brew event the first stop of their final Z-bar evening festivities! Finally, enjoy a live performance by Market favorite, Martin "The Cheddar" Potter. Wine and cheese moooooove over for this event and let's pair two of Wisconsin's favorites: beer and cheese!
